Vince Young - National Champion

Vince Young led his team the University of Texas to a NCAA National Championship on Wednesday night Jan 4th 2006. He gained a total of 467 yards that night. 200 through the scramble and another 267 yards passing. He did this while denying USC a record setting third National Championship in a row.

At 6-5 230lbs this kid has what it takes to be one of the best ever in the next level. Early on in his NCAA career as being a scramble only quaterback with not much accuracy. But last year this all turned around and people began to see the flashes of genius that we saw during the Rose Bowl. Now there is a debate wether he will go first or second in the upcoming 2006 NFL Draft. His top competitors are the same as they were during the NCAA Championship - Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush. Whichever teams gets him will end up getting a star for years to come.

Now with the Tennessee Titans Vinve Young is still having tons of success that he did in college. Leading his team to an 8-7 record and one game out of the playoff it seems that he will continue to be able to transfer that success to the next level.
